These Terms of Service govern the relationship between:
The Pitch Deck Surgeon, operated by Raymond Eckstein, email: raymond@thepitchdecksurgeon.com ("we," "us," "the Surgeon")
and
The individual or entity purchasing a service ("you," "the Client," "the Founder")
A written 42-point diagnostic report covering the 7 Vital Organs of your pitch deck, delivered within 5 business days, counted from the moment the deck link you provide is accessible. Price: $500.
A complete pitch story reconstruction, available exclusively following a completed Pitch Vitals Check. Delivered within 10 business days of receipt of your completed intake. Price: $6,000 for Seed-stage raises ($1M–$3M) or $9,000 for Series A raises ($3M–$10M+), with the $500 Pitch Vitals Check fee credited in full (net $5,500 or $8,500 respectively). One structured revision round is included; additional revision rounds are $750 each, scoped and confirmed before work begins.
3.1 The Pitch Vitals Check is sold through Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record. The full price of $500 is paid at booking. Work begins once payment is confirmed.
3.2 Gumroad calculates and charges any applicable VAT or sales tax at checkout and sends a receipt to the email address provided at purchase.
3.3 Payment terms for Full Pitch Surgery are confirmed in writing before work begins.
4.1 Pitch Vitals Check: Delivered within 5 business days, counted from the moment the deck link you provide is accessible. The deck and context you provide in the booking form serve as the intake.
4.2 Full Pitch Surgery: Delivered within 10 business days of receipt of your completed intake. Timeline begins upon receipt of all required materials as specified in the intake.
4.3 Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Dutch public holidays.
4.4 If your timeline is genuinely critical, contact us before purchasing to confirm current capacity and availability.
5.1 Due to the bespoke, analytical nature of the services provided, refunds are not available once the diagnostic or surgical process has commenced.
5.2 If delivery is not completed within the stated timeline through our fault, you are entitled to a full refund.
5.3 If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the report, contact us directly within 7 days of delivery. We will review your concern and respond within 5 business days. We are committed to delivering clinical precision and will address legitimate quality concerns directly.
6.1 All materials submitted by the Client, including pitch decks, financial projections, business plans, and investor correspondence, are treated as confidential commercial information.
6.2 We will not disclose, share, or use Client materials for any purpose other than delivering the purchased service.
6.3 We do not use anonymised client cases as public examples without explicit written consent.
7.1 The diagnostic frameworks, methodologies, and rating systems used in the service, including the 42-point framework used in the Pitch Vitals Check, the 7 Vital Organs framework, and the Triage Map, are the intellectual property of The Pitch Deck Surgeon.
7.2 The written report delivered to you is your property. You may use it freely for the purpose of improving and presenting your pitch.
7.3 You may not reproduce, resell, or publicly distribute the report as a standalone product or as part of a commercial offering.
8.1 The Pitch Deck Surgeon provides analytical and strategic diagnostic services. We do not guarantee fundraising outcomes, investor interest, or the successful completion of a funding round.
8.2 Our liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.
8.3 We are not liable for indirect losses, including but not limited to: lost fundraising opportunities, business losses, or investment decisions made on the basis of our reports.
The Client and The Pitch Deck Surgeon operate as independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
10.1 These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided shall be submitted first to direct negotiation between the parties. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Updated Terms apply to new purchases from the date of update. We will notify active clients of material changes by email.
